- UK dd/mm/yyyy
- US mm/dd/yyyy
- Germany dd.mm.yyyy
- China yyyy-mm-dd or yyyy/mm/dd. When dates are stated in a copy, it could be written in Chinese 2013年8月25日 (年 = year, 月 = month, 日 = day)
- Japan yyyy-mm-dd or yyyy/mm/dd. When dates are stated in a copy, it could be written in Japanese 2013年8月25日 (年 = year, 月= month, 日= day)
- India dd-mm-yy
- Brazil dd/mm/yyyy. In formal writing months are spelled out and not capitalised (e.g. 20 de junho de 2013)
- Russia dd-mm-yy
- Saudi Arabia dd/mm/yyyy
